"My hubby and I recently decided to start a "bucket list" of our own and live a life of experience! A bit of a jump start to our relationship and encourage us to "do more".. As a gift for him, I picked up this book to have a starting point... The first thing on the list is "Go to Lambeu".. We've done it already, but I bought tickets to put in the book as an "extra bonus gift"! (He's a Packer fanatic).. They will act as a bookmark when he opens it to look through the pages. #Win! While the book itself is really just a list of things to do in Wisconsin, I love it because it's all in one place and we can take it with us to write all over the pages. Make it a bit of a time capsule. Further, while some of the ideas in the book are quite simple (eat a squeaky cheese curd), some are things that I would never have thought of! Even as a Wisconsinite, I personally love this book and think it's wonderful in all it's simplicity. A bucket list is what you make of it!"

As a life long Wisconsinite, I found the book fun and helpful and an interesting cross section of Wisconsin's diverse culture. It's also an easy read and a perfect starting point for a day trip or weekend get away. I actually learned some things I didn't know about my home state and think it's very helpful for finding interesting things to do. The book also made for a great and relatively inexpensive holiday gift! Nice job, Kelly Jo!
I love Wisconsin!!
As a fellow Wisconsin author, I just had to get my hands on Kelly Jo's book. While there are a handful of entries that I've done from her book, I realized how much more there is for me to do! The book is a great gift idea and something for the lifelong Wisconsinite and new-comers alike. Get out there and explore Wisconsin!

I gave this to three other Wisconsinites for Christmas! After growing up there and moving away it's fun to see what I had seen.
Fun book! Great ideas!
I received this book as a gift as I am planning a trip to visit Wisconsin for the first time. This book is filled with ideas of fun things to see and do when I get there. I am looking forward to seeing how many of them I can check off my list!
Love the Wisconsin Bucket List! Buy it! You won't regret it.
As a Wisconsin native and current resident, I was happy to read of a few places on the Wisconsin Bucket list that I have visited over the years. But I was delighted to find far more destinations that I've forgotten about or never knew existed. I fully disagree with the comment regarding the lack of directions. Most people can find directions to any location quick enough with the use of a computer or smart phone. To add directions to this book would make it cluttered and less user-friendly. I love that the Wisconsin Bucket List covers all areas of WI as well as inviting readers to experience WI culture. The quotes provided throughout are funny and thoughtful and adds to the joy of the list. It is certainly not meant to be a complete list of all things to do in our wonderful state, but it is a reference to help the traveler start thinking about places to go and things to do. The Wisconsin Bucket List is a great source of ideas and information so I can travel with my young family and introduce them to the wonderful people and destinations of our great state! Great job Kelly Jo and thanks for writing this book!
Adding to My Bucket List
Being a Wisconsin native I'm proud that I've been to many of Kelly Jo's sites. After reading her book I have learned there are so many more I need to see. This is a "must have" book that should be available in hotels and gift shops around the state. I loved the quotes on the bottom of each page. This author sounds like a fun person who enjoys exploring her home state.
