Wisconsin is full of fun activities waiting to be had by you! The Wisconsin Bucket List includes 100 ways to have a real Wisconsin experience. It doesn't include every nook and cranny of the state, but it's a good place to start. There are blank pages in the book, so you can add your personal bucket list adventures. I added flyboarding on Lake Monona in Madison. As you can see, it was a blast! What will you add? http://www.madcityflyboards.com/
Cave of the Mounds
Plan a day trip and go spelunking at Cave of the Mounds! The grounds have trails to explore and offer picnic tables for your packed lunch. The cave shows off beautiful mineral colors and formations including stalactites and stalagmites. There will be plenty of "oohs and aahs" from your group as you travel down under and learn more about cave science. (Photo courtesy Cave of the Mounds) http://www.caveofthemounds.com/
Kayak the Sea Caves of Lake Superior
The highlight of your family's summer vacation could be kayaking through the sea caves of Lake Superior. This is an unforgettable journey on the world's largest lake off the Bayfield Peninsula. You'll learn new skills or renew your old ones together with the competent guides from Living Adventure. http://livingadventure.com/
Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame - Big Musky
The BIG MUSKY is frequently mentioned in national roadside attractions. Where else can your family climb into the mouth of a four and one-half stories tall fiberglass fish? There's lots room for the kids to safely roam and explore on the grounds and the museum. Located in Hayward at the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. http://www.freshwater-fishing.org/
Elroy-Sparta State Bike Trail
The Elroy-Sparta State Bike Trail was the first Rails to Trails in America and is commonly referred to as the Granddaddy of them all! Bring the family and some flashlights to walk your bikes through the three tunnels on the path. The trail is 32.5 miles in length, so judge the ride accordingly with the little ones. Tandem bicycles and bikes of all sizes are available to rent at the Kendall Depot. http://www.elroy-sparta-trail.com/
Wisconsin Dairy State Cheese Company
This group of Wisconsin athletes biked fifty miles and made a stop for cheese curds after completing a triathlon that morning! Wowza! They said the cheese curds at Wisconsin Dairy State Cheese Company are worth the trip. Don't worry, you don't have to bike fifty miles to get there–feel free to get there by car!
It's no secret we're proud of our football team in Green Bay. You can see it in the faces of these lovely ladies. This is where we go to bond with our buddies, cheer with the cheeseheads, and dress in our Sunday best. We don't mind if the temperature drops 12 degrees below zero! This is where we go to make memories that last a lifetime. (photo courtesy of Lori Brenner)

Musky Fishing Season
During musky fishing season Tom Hunn caught a great prize! Did you know the Muskellunge has been the official state fish since 1955? More trophy Musky fish have been recorded in Wisconsin than anywhere else in the world.
Wisconsin winters provide an abundance of frozen lakes which offer great opportunities for families to get outside and go ice fishing. Teaching a child to fish and watching them reel in their own fish is a great reward. Fishing is a fun sport children can learn and enjoy a lifetime.
